is是谓语吗

is是系动词，只能构成主系表结构，不能作谓语。谓语是对主语动作状态或特征的陈述或说明，指出“做什么(whattodo)”,“是什么(whatisthis)”。

谓语动词一般由动词的各种时态来体现。例如：
