英语中的万为什么没有

因为英语没有固定的十进制单位，所以英语中没有万的直接译法。

比如30000，我们说“三万”，而英语中则读作“thirty thousand"，同样的，比如说20万，英语中则读作”two hundred thousand"。

在英语中一：one、十：ten、百：hundred、千：thousand、万：ten thousand、百万：million、千万：ten million、亿：hundred million、千亿：billion、百亿：ten billion。
